If you looked up Safar Restaurant on Google Maps you would be forgiven if it did not appeal in the least. But you would be mistaken, located right in the middle of an industrial estate, no stranger to large rumbling lorries and the deserted quietness of the end of a busy day, Safar was a […]
The peak of summer in Lyme Regis is a busy busy time. Looking for a place for a late lunch proved challenging as most places were full and busy and not many were dog-friendly. However, right above the Cobb Gate Car Park, the venerable Bell Cliff restaurant stands next to a crystal shop, overlooking The […]
Food halls, sometimes also known as food courts are common in Asia. Modern, clean and spacious, they can be found in shopping malls, local markets or independently on their own. Unlike restaurants and cafes on the high street, these are stalls offering a variety of food found under one roof.
This wasn’t out first visit and it won’t be our last. Even though we are based in Bath, we can call Moonlight Indian Restaurant our ‘local’ given the number of times we have been here, more so than our actual local curry house. We intend on doing a series over time, featuring the many delicious […]

A favourite among students and locals in the south of Bath, Panahar Indian Cuisine is a takeaway and restaurant that offers unique, no nonsense and freshly prepared curry dishes at affordable prices. The fact that it is a Bring Your Own Drink establishment makes it even more appealing.
Nothing beats freshly cooked fish and chip served on a plate. The crisp of the batter and crunchy chips make a big difference, compared to paper wrapped or boxed takeaways. We thought we give ourselves a treat on a Friday and invited a friend along to dine in at the White Row Fish and Chip.
We are back here again, this time on our way to visit Exeter University’s Streatham campus. We had a quick stopover for lunch at Sai Kung. It was a Friday so the place wasn’t as busy before, see review from our previous visit.
