Visiting Cambridge with your doggie-pal? Novotel Cambridge North, just 2.2 miles north of Cambridge is a brilliant place to stay. In general, hotels are not often known for being pet-friendly with limits and rules about where your dog is allowed and restrictions on not leaving your pet alone in the room.

While there are many Chinese restaurants that do dim sum in London, it is usually a challenge to find one elsewhere in the UK. We needed our dim sum fix on our trip to Northampton so we asked online for the best place to get them. The answer, Oriental Garden Restaurant.

Quiet and calm are the words to describe the Mount Batten Beach in Plymouth. Given its secluded location, this isn’t the beach of choice for travellers and visitors. Even during peak seasons, the place is relatively quiet, frequented only by the locals and those in the know, and thankfully, not too many of them.

While there is no dedicated car park, there is ample parking space in front of the houses that line Heybrook Drive.

This little market town in Wiltshire is located on the old main road from London to Bath. We passed the place and stopped several times before, always intrigued and fascinated by the buildings, variety of shops and friendly people. On previous visits, it was more of a stop for lunch or tea. This time, we […]

We discovered by accident a little gate and some rather steep steps that took us right to the water’s edge along the River Avon. Adventuring downwards gave us some amazing views along the old riverbank at Bradford-on-Avon. If you’re in the vicinity, we would certainly recommend it as a quick stop.
