The Wenlock Basin is a long and narrow canal basin on Regent’s Canal meant for private residential use only. It is therefore not managed or owned by the Canal & River Trust. It is a 320 metre long canal basin on the Regent’s Canal, in the Hoxton area of the London Borough of Hackney.

Porthgwidden Beach near Carbis Bay in St. Ives is a small and secluded beach with plenty to offer. We parked in the Island Car Park, a small challenge to get to given the narrow roads that led to it.

This wasn’t our first time to Bistrot Pierre and won’t be our last. We have been to Bistrot Pierre in Bath a number of times and have never been let down. The food tastes great, with good portions and is reasonably priced.

We found a nice little place by the river off Newbridge Road called the Boathouse. It was a weekday evening and the place was relatively quiet.

One lazy evening, we decided to dine out at Bill’s on Cheap Street, Bath. We were always intrigued by the interior and how the place seems packed at lunchtime. I had half a bird with sweet potato chips and curried coleslaw, tasty but a little under cooked.

Here is another great find. We explored the ‘back alleys’ of Bath and found the Wild Cafe. While waiting for our food, we took in the interior, fittings and layout, including how people in suit and tie seems to frequent this place like they know this place very well.
